What a ceramic coating protects your paint against.
A coating is a hard, slick layer bonded to your clear coat. Things that used to sit on the paint and eat into it now sit on top of the coating and wash off.
UV and sun fade
Minnesota summers oxidize unprotected clear coat. The coating takes the UV hit instead of your paint.
Bird droppings and tree sap
Both are acidic and start etching within hours. On a coated car they sit on the surface until you wipe them off.

Two things most shops won't say out loud. First: a ceramic coating will not stop rock chips or deep scratches. No coating will, no matter what anyone promises. It's a chemical shield against the salt, UV, and grime that quietly age your paint; impact protection is a different product (paint protection film, we do that too, and we'll tell you straight which one your situation calls for).

How long does a ceramic coating last?+
Depends on the package: Essentials is 3 years, Signature is 6, Ultimate is 9, each warrantied for the full length. We inspect the car every year for that whole time, so we always know where your coating actually is in its life. That's exactly why we're confident putting those numbers in writing.
Why do you keep seeing the car after the install?+
Because that's when problems are cheap to fix. Most coating issues start small and quiet: something bonded to the surface, an area not behaving the way it should. By the time it's obvious from the driver's seat, it usually isn't a small fix any more. So the 30-day check-up and the annual coating maintenance visit come with every coating we install, along with the after-care playbook. It's not an add-on; it's what the job is here.
Why won't you just tell me the price?+
Because an honest price needs eyes on your car. Vehicle size matters, and paint condition matters more. Paint with less defects, require less prep and often costs less, while neglected paint may need correction first so the coating bonds properly.
Will it stop rock chips and scratches?+
No, and be wary of anyone who says otherwise. Ceramic is a chemical shield: salt, UV fade, etching, grime. Impact protection is paint protection film's job. We install that too, and if chips are your real worry, we'll tell you honestly at the inspection.
Is it worth coating a brand-new car?+
